    Clubmaster alternative.....

    I bought these glasses from your sunglasses section as I was struggling to purchase the Ray Ban Clubmaster with prescription lenses elsewhere. When the glasses turned up, they came with clear lenses so I phoned up to ask why they weren't the sunglasses that I had ordered. I was told that these lenses would turn brown when in the sunlight, I have since discovered that this is only the faintest hint of brown so these are not suitable for use as sunglases. I now have another pair of glasses but not the sunglasses I was actually after, so it's frustratingly back to the drawing board to start the search all over again minus the money that has already been wasted on this transaction!

    Hi, we can confirm these were supplied with photochromic lenses which adjust according to UV light. These do sometimes take a few activation's to fully darken. You may also find they darken less at this time of year when UV light is less than during summer months.
