The Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards are an annual awards ceremony, which aims to celebrate the top African American entertainers within the past year.
The 21st edition of the show took place on the 27th June 2021 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California.
Many musical acts performed live on the night, including the likes of DaBaby, Lil Nas X and Busta Rhymes.
Additionally, several awards were up for grabs such as ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist’ and the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, which were won by Megan Thee Stallion and Queen Latifah.
There were also some fantastic examples of celebrity fashion and eyewear at the BET Awards this year.

H.E.R.
Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson (aka H.E.R.) is an American musician, best known for songs such as ‘Hard Place’ and ‘Change’.
She was spotted on the BET Awards red carpet this year sporting a simple yet effective ensemble.
Wilson opted to wear a plain black velvet blazer, which has been paired with some transparent chiffon trousers – we adore the check print all over!

Tyler, The Creator
Tyler Gregory Okonma (aka Tyler, the Creator) is best recognised as being an American rapper and singer, hailing from Ladera Heights, California.
The 30-year old star attended the BET Awards (right) wearing a plain white t-shirt and black shorts combo for a cool and collected look.
He chose to layer up with a red and pink leopard print sleeveless jumper, adding a unique feel to the proceedings.
Matching white socks and some black tasseled loafer shoes give a slightly preppy vibe to the look.

Jonathan Lyndale Kirk (aka DaBaby) is best known to be an American rapper, hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina.
DaBaby has released several top charting singles so far, including the likes of ‘Suge’, ‘Intro’ and ‘Bop’. They all reached top 20 positions on the Billboard Hot 100.
He was pictured attending the BET Awards this year wearing a fabulous ensemble.
He wore a plain black turtleneck top and some Playboy themed skinny jeans for the occasion, layered up with a bright yellow longline coat – we adore the colour!

Migos are an American hip hip trio, hailing from Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Members Quavo, Offset and Takeoff were spotted at this year’s BET Awards, wearing some fantastic fashion and eyewear looks.
Even though we love all of the looks here, our favourite has to be Quavo’s look (middle).
