Ashley Nicolette Frangipane (aka Halsey) is best recognised for being an American singer/songwriter, hailing from Edison, New Jersey.
The now 25-year old star first gained attention after posting content on the video sharing websites YouTube and Kik.
Following this, she collaborated with someone she met at a party. The song titled ‘Ghost’ was released on SoundCloud and within hours, the track gained popularity and she started to be contacted by record labels.
A few months later, Halsey began to tour with various musical artists such as The Kooks, The Weeknd and Imagine Dragons.
In 2015, she successfully released her debut album ‘Badlands’, which charted in several countries worldwide. It features popular tracks such as ‘Colors’, ‘New Americana’ and ‘Hurricane’.
Earlier this year, she released her third studio compilation named ‘Manic’. It charted at no. 6 in the UK Albums Chart.
Aside from Halsey’s amazing music, she also has a fantastic taste in fashion and eyewear.
