Brie Larson: The Captain Marvel Star’s Top Eyewear Looks

She’s the Academy Award winning actress about to step into the boots of the latest Marvel superhero – say hello to Brie Larson. Playing Carol Denvers in the upcoming origin film Captain Marvel, Brie has scored numerous accolades in her varied acting career, including a BAFTA and a Golden Globe.

However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the soon-to-be-superstar. With a music career that didn’t quite take off and failed auditions of high profile roles, Brie has admitted to almost giving up acting altogether – and we couldn’t be happier that she didn’t!

And much in the same way, Brie agreed to take on the role of Captain Marvel in order to encourage and empower young women – a pretty marvellous decision, if you ask us. She trained solidly for nine months in preparation for the mammoth role, and we can’t wait to see her in action next month when the film finally hits our screens.
