Commonwealth Games 2018: Athlete Eyewear Inspiration

The Commonwealth Games is a popular sports event, which typically takes place once every four years.

This event is different to other international events, due to the fact that only countries within the Commonwealth of Nations are allowed to compete.

It is also one of the only sporting events in which the United Kingdom is split into separate countries for the duration.

Competitive sports usually played include the likes of basketball, diving, netball and table tennis.

This year’s event was held between the 4th-15th April 2018 in Queensland, Australia.

Join us as we share some of our favourite eyewear looks from athletes competing in the Commonwealth Games ’18!

He won gold medals both in the 50m and 100m backstroke events recently, as well as a few others.

The colour scheme of his outfit is also something to be admired though – the colours surprisingly work so well together!

In this shot, he is pictured with fellow medal winners.

He is sporting a fabulous pair of specs with this look, which definitely finish things off very well indeed.
