Style Stalking Marina & The Diamonds

When Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as pop sensation Marina And The Diamonds, first exploded onto the scene in 2010 with her debut album The Family Jewels, her infectious indie-electro brand of music struck a major chord with listeners.

Since gaining Certified Gold status, the album would see the release of ear worm single Hollywood: an upbeat but ‘ultimately sarcastic and cynical take’ on the commercial side of the industry, in the singer’s own words.

Marina release successful follow up albums Electra Heart, (in which the entertainer created a stage character of the same name, to represent female archetypes in popular American culture), and Froot, both of which were critical successes.

From House Wife to Beauty Queen, and Home wrecker to Idle Teen, Marina has channelled numerous archetypes throughout her artistry, and her fashion sense has followed suit.

With a playful, often theatrical style, the entertainer consistently delivers killer looks, definitively stamped with her own unique brand.

Join as we look at Marina’s recent fashion highlights, and how you can steal her style.

We adore everything about this unbelievably cute ensemble.

From the 70s colour ways to the playful faux fur vest, this is a nostalgic throwback look done right.

Marina sports a simple cropped sky blue tee, paired with skinny copper chinos to create an instantly nostalgic vibe.

The playful addition of a shaggy orange vest, worn over a sandy bomber jacket highlights the singer’s fearless fashion sense, always ready to mix up style norms.

Stepping away from the stage and enjoying what the rest of the festival had to offer, Marina is pictured enjoying Glastonbury as an audience member.

In stark contrast to her all white Clean Bandit ensemble, Marina goes bold in black, keeping things simple.

It’s her killer cat eye shades that really steal the show here.

Oversized but retaining a classic shape, we love Marina’s stellar choice of statement eyewear.

Appearing alongside Clean Bandit at Glastonbury to perform new single Disconnect, Marina looks beautiful in an all-white ensemble.

We love the short sleeved lightweight jumpsuit paired with metallic pumps, complimenting the futuristic vibe of Clean Bandit’s outfits.

We’re digging the space age gladiator feel!

Marina rocks off-duty chic in the above snap.

Dungarees are back in a big way this season, and the singer works the trend with a relaxed mid-wash pair.

Teaming the look with Converse keeps the look casual, while her blue and white embroidered tee adds a touch of slick tailoring.

An out-of-work winner!

Marina once again channels serious 70s vibes in the above shot.

This time in a dreamy pink catsuit complete with chiffon cape for the ultimate nod of nostalgia.

Her tussled hair and electric blue eye shadow gives us mega ABBA vibes, while her clutch of purple feathers screams 70s vegas showgirl.

This is throwback done right!

Marina looks slick in the above throwback shot from early in her career.

Rocking a soft pink satin embroidered blazer that couldn’t be more 2017 if it tried.

The piece is bang in line with the ‘millennial pink’ and souvenir jacket trends.

How’s that for forward thinking fashion?
