The Met Gala is best recognised for being an annual fashion event, which helps to fundraise for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.
The prestigious event is known to have a different theme every year, which is in line with the current theme of the Costume Institute’s fashion exhibit.
This year’s Met Gala was held on the evening of the 13th September 2021 and the theme was ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’.
Of course, there were several A-list attendees at the Met Gala this year.
