Eccentric , is the “password” for one of this year most awaited fashion event!
If we were to spell out the Met Gala 2019 perhaps this one word would suffice. Maybe, because next to the extra-ordinary looks on the red carpet that makes us dream every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art, for this 6th May 2019 the chosen theme suggested, we would have really seen a lot of colours. In few words a rainbow of creativity!
Camp: Notes on Fashion, this is the Met Ball Theme for 2019, which, in hindsight, left a lot of room for interpretation. In fact it opened the doors to everything that lends itself to the combination of high fashion and kitsch.
The most known designers of our times, had a lot of fun creating such luxurious theatrical pieces of work, that were a fiest for the eyes!
Lady Gaga camp-iest of them all!
Dua Lipa vintage diva
The pop singer, Dua Lipa was focused more on her hair, choosing a very feminine hairstyle, in a 60s style, with a maxi bonnet embellished with a stone accessory, strong make-up in the colours of purple.
All the Versace extravagant look, was matched with a pair of cat-eye embellished black sunglasses.
One of the most gorgeous looks of the Met Gala for sure!
Elegant Miley Cyrus
Miley Cirus was more “sober” this time, wearing a total black outfit, with a maxi blazer.
Luxurious jewels and a pair of ’90 geometrical sunglasses, which gave her a super cool vibe.
Designers chose Ray-Ban!

Lady Gaga was the queen of the night but obviously, she was not the only one to make our jaw drop!
There was someone like the comic Billy Porter, who interpreted the theme of the Met Gala 2019, arriving on the red carpet in the Egyptian divinity version with a lot of gold jumpsuit and wings.
Genderless (but definitely more sober) also Harry Styles in Gucci, with a total black look and see through blouse.
In the collection of pictures above, you can see the world biggest designers with their creative muses. Stunning dresses and looks!
Both Pier Paolo Piccioli and Jeremy Scott wore a pair of black Ray-Ban to match their looks: an evergreen classic, perfect for every event (even the craziest one).
Adut Akech (first picture) look inspiration:
Bella Hadid walked the red carpet of the Met Gala 2019, wearing an amazing black dress designed by Moschino. Characterized by revealing portholes on the sides and eccentric and luxurious jewel decorations.
Her overall look was also opulent and vintage which make us think that these sunglasses are a perfect inspiration, if you want to copy her diva style.
But let’s face it, the Met Gala already lends itself to extravagance every year. This year, with the “Camp” theme the celebrities have really been unleashed and some of us are certain that these looks will remain in the forever annals!
Let us know in the comment section below, which of these Met Gala’s fashionable sunglasses do you like the most.
