Lake Como is an absolute beauty. Whether you are staying in the super-luxurious hotels or a budget hotel, you will fall head over heels for this place – I know I did.
It is stunning, laid-back, and a great place for a weekend break.
We included Lake Como as a part of a road trip and exploring the place, and the routes, by car is highly recommended.
Perhaps couple it with a trip to Milan or even Pisa (or both) or alternatively dedicate a break just to absorb Lake Como.
It is often thought to be a place for couples, it is quite a romantic place after all, but keep in mind that it is not uniquely catered to that audience. There is plenty for a group of friends, families or even solo travelers.
