I have ordered a numbers of set of glasses from select specs which have been excellent. This set I was very disappointed with.
1. The nose bridge was very large and uncomfortable. I did squeeze the bridge to make it fit
2. I thought the grey tint was quite dark as I was expecting a sort of tint wash.
Fit - Too large I wouldn't recommend this product

Would like to give this company a glowing review, but find it difficult.
They try hard and have the best prices, but my experience was frought with problems. My specs order with a mild uncomplicated prescription took about a month to arrive. I was pleased with my choice of frames but these were out of alignment as received with legs welded at slightly different angles and the lenses aligned in different vertical planes. I ordered half eye glasses for reading only. The lenses although nicely coated were finished poorly on the top edge, and when wearing them the optics were distorted with clear vision only possible in the central zone, looking left and right vision was smeary and refracted into multiple images. Had to argue the case with customer support who were borderline stroppy, which wasn't pleasant, and was only given a partial refund at first, by accident apparently, but fully refunded for the difference later. The PD measurement I supplied was slightly inaccurate (1.5mm out) but with my mild prescription this wouldn't account for the severe optical aberrations in the supplied specs, which were just horrible to wear and made me feel dizzy. I didnt have any confidence that a replacement would be any different, so reluctantly had to ask for a refund, although I'm sure Selectspecs would have gone the distance and replaced these for me with frames and glazing.
Their customer support though by and large was efficient friendly and polite, and I would stress that this was just my experience, with my prescription and frame choice. Others may fair better, so dont be too put off by this.
Fit - As expected I'd recommend this product

Although these are not the budget range, they were still very reasonably priced. The quality is excellent and the prescription spot-on. An option for longer arms would be useful as these are exactly the sort of glasses you might want to wear halfway down your nose and look over. It's probably worth going for the Thin & Light lens option as it's free, but the standard ones I have are not particularly heavy.

Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
We do our best to ensure we stock all available items from all our supplied brands so if an item is not listed it may be out of stock or discontinued. If you do not see the frame size you require please contact us through our Customer Services system where we will try to assist you.
