Our Warranty

Designer Products

Designer products are covered by a 12 or 24 month (from date of original purchase) warranty, depending on brand*. The following is covered by this warranty.

  • Delamination and/or peeling of non-prescription sun lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in non-prescription lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels
  • If we have supplied prescription lenses for a designer product, these are covered separately by our 12 month warranty

Own Brand Products

Our own products are covered by a 12 month warranty (from date of original purchase). The following is covered by this warranty.

  • Delamination and/or peeling of lens coating
  • Bubbles or imperfections in lens coating
  • Premature flaking or deterioration of frame coating or frame itself
  • Soldering defects of temple hinges and/or barrels

What is not covered by warranty

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches or pit marks on sun lenses)
  • Any damages caused by accident, abuse, neglect, shock, improper use or storage of product
  • Damage caused by chemicals (hair spray, cologne, window cleaner, alcohol, etc…)
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Loss of eyewear

Warranty Refunds

We can exchange for a like-for-like model of the same value (or more) for all warranty cases. The warranty begins when the original item is dispatched and expires 12 months later. Any replacements issued within the warranty period will be subject to this original warranty expiry date; the warranty expiry date does not reset on any replacement orders.

Regrettably, we’re unable to provide full refunds for warranty claims older than 6 months; in these cases, we can refund as follows:

  • Up to 6 months - Full refund
  • 6 to 9 months - 50% refund
  • 9 to 12 (or 24 designer dependent) months - 25% refund

All warranty claims are subject to a case by case evaluation. Warranty claimed items must be returned to us within 14 days of receiving our return authorisation form (this will be emailed to you). Items that arrive to us later than 14 days will be subject to a further 25% reduction in the refund amount detailed above.
