Sunglasses of the Year 2012 – Police S8299 with Luke Evans

Police Sunglasses were the 2012 winner of the Sunglasses of the Year Award for their S8299 – 583B model with blue tinted lenses at the recent Optician Awards held at Hilton Park Lane, London.  The signature piece (below) from Police combines the retro styling and blue lens which helped make Police iconic with some contemporary influences to make it a 'must have' piece of eyewear for the summer.

Luke Evans – UK Ambassador for Police

Welsh actor Luke Evans – the star of The Three Musketeers and Immortals – is the current UK Brand Ambassador for Police, following in the footsteps of David Beckham and George Clooney.  Luke is featured heavily in the Police marketing campaign which consists of five sunglasses styles with the iconic blue lenses.
