Crissy Costanza: Pop rock threesome Against the Current’s lead vocalist. Since the band was formed in 2011, Costanza and her bandmates have rocketed in popularity to become musical stars.
Firstly, the group started to upload covers of notable pop songs onto their YouTube channel, where they managed to get a decent following. A few years later, Against the Current released their debut EP named ‘Infinity’. This succeeded to reach a position of No. 28 on the Heatseekers Albums chart list in the US.
In 2016, the band put out their debut studio album release titled ‘In Our Bones’, which is where they got a real mainstream following. It charted in several countries internationally. Catchy, infectious singles from the compilation such as ‘Running With the Wild Things’ and ‘Wasteland’ helped to solidify their sound. Frontwoman Crissy is known for her simple yet sophisticated sense of style.
