European Weekend Trips That Won’t Break The Bank

Do you find yourself in a bit of a rut and crave a break away? Are you currently at work scrolling through potential destinations you could visit instead of doing work?

We’ve complied a list of weekend trips away in Europe that won’t break the bank.

We understand that payday isn’t for another couple of weeks, so let us take you on a journey through all the hot spots you can visit.

And don’t worry, we won’t tell your boss.

Dublin

Depending where you are in the UK, you can get a flight for real cheap flight if you do a bit of research.

If there’s a group of you going, then why not rent an Airbnb?

Spilt the cost between you and your pals and you’ll still have enough to do some shopping, explore and of course, drinking.

You’ll defo still have some spare change for a pint of Guinness or two. Go on, treat yourself!

Berlin

For those who don’t know, Berlin is the party central of Europe.

The flight time is not long at all, so if you book on to a cheaper airline and take only hand luggage (after all you’re not there for long), you can save yourself some money.

Also, if your intention is to party all night, then accommodation won’t be THAT important to you.

Look for cheaper alternatives, like a youth hostel, to let you have a quick nap to nurse that hangover before the night begins all over again.

Reykjavîk

Reykjavîk is the place to be right now. Everyone who is anyone has seem to visit there and all the picturesque snaps on our Instagram feed is making us feel FOMO.

But don’t fret, getting there isn’t too expensive if you plan ahead. You can easily get return flights for under £100 if you choose to book with a budget airline.

Avoid peak seasons like June – August though, as the price can ofter double, if not triple, in price.

Paris

If you want to take your other half to the most romantic city in the world but think it will blow your savings, then think again. We’ve found a way to get around it – by coach.

Okay, so it’s not the most glamorous way to travel, but it’s the thought that counts right?

We think it will be a super nice trip, and the fact that you’re stuck in a coach next to each other for a good few hours will only bring you closer.

Warsaw

When you think of a weekend European trip, we’re pretty sure Poland isn’t the first place that springs to mind.

The city, Warsaw, is fast become a hot spot. It’s a city full of young people who want to party, cute little restaurant as well as museums and art galleries that have entrance fees for under a fiver.

Be the first out of your friends to visit this city, and make them jealous with the insane Instagram pics you’re definitely going to take.

Remember to book your annual leave, and go on the adventure of a lifetime or for just the weekend.

If you’re going on a city break in the summer, then don’t forget the all important sunglasses, so you can sightsee, party and brunch in style.

These Ray-Ban are the must have style of the summer. They’re a hit with bloggers and celebrities, so you’ll be holiday-ing like a star.
