Semi-Rimless/Rimless frames must have at least one non-broken lens in order to be reglazed.
Curved Frames / Oversized Lenses
Unfortunately, we're unable to reglaze frames or sunglasses with a curvature or large lenses. Please contact us if you're unsure if your frame is suitable.
If you're choosing to reglaze a frame with varifocal/progressive lenses, please ensure the minimum height of your frame is 26mm. Unfortunately we're unable to glaze a frame with varifocal lenses if the height is less than this.
All reglazes are done at the customers own risk. Ensure your frames are sent to us via an insured method, we cannot be held responsible for frames lost in the post.
While we make every effort to ensure all reglaze orders are completed, there are occasions where we're unable to complete the reglaze due to damage, brittle frames or a frame design that is not suitable for new lenses to be fitted successfully. In these cases we will contact you to advise you and return your frame and offer a refund. Unfortunately, we cannot refund postage fees.
If you feel your frames may not be suitable for reglaze or would like advice, please contact us (include a picture of the frame if possible) and we'll be happy to assist you before you place your order.
Unfortunately, due to the complexity of these frames, we're unable to provide a reglaze service for this brand.

I don't ever write reviews and this is my first one ever for anything, but this service really does deserve the best credit I could give anything.
I had my Armani Vari-focal glasses reglazed due to me damaging them. The lenses that were in had cost me £280.00 and were of the highest quality available and were made in Germany. I basically took a gamble when I placed my order to reglaze the frames for less than half of that cost with this company and fully expected them to be returned of a lesser quality due to the cost alone.
After sending them I received an email saying due the quality and complexity they would take slightly longer than usual but they were working on them. At this point I expected a higher cost to do the work but no the cost remained the same. The glasses then were returned to me for the original cost and I couldn't believe that they were of a higher quality than when I had originally paid £280.00.
Really cant thank you enough.

I sent my old frames to be reglazed. They needed a PD check as I didn't have that information and when I got the glasses back I realised there was something wrong with them. They made me dizzy and gave me a headache. I contacted the customer service team and they were excellent. They quickly offered to have a look at the glasses, so I sent them back and within a couple of days they contacted me admitting the PD check was wrong and offering to reglaze them again free of charge. I received the correct glasses only a few days later and I am very happy with them now.
Even though there was a mistake in the original product, they were quick at fixing it. I was also kept up-to-date on the progress of my order, which is reassuring when you're sending expensive glasses over the post!
Overall, I think SelectSpecs offers very good value for money and would recommend their reglazing service.

I needed some much-loved frames re-lensing, and so I immediately thought I should try the internet, as I'd had good luck in the past ordering glasses from them. So I chose SelectSpecs as I'd already ordered a pair of glasses through them, and I'd had a good experience.
The ordering process was quite painless, just entered my prescription details and my preferences for lens thickness and coatings, and then paid for them. I posted off the glasses, and had new lenses on them within two weeks.
I've never tried the re-lensing at high street retailers, but I'd heard from others that this could be around £80-£100. I got mine done for under £50 including shipping. I can't fault the quality, the glasses are very clear.
The only part I don't understand is why I could get a brand new pair for about $10, but relensing cost £50? I suspect that the cheap pair has a very streamlined process for making lenses, so they can make it very efficient, whereas mine was a custom order.
