    Loved the stepper frames. Much better choice of colours than high street shops. Can't be the value for money too

    Light frame, fit well.

    I first found this frame in the optician, but then saw it on Selectspecs and with varifocal lenses it was £100 cheaper. Very pleased.

    Great specs

    Perfect lightweight glasses. Stepper are an excellent make and this pair of titanium frames and lenses were half the price here at Select Specs, than from my regular optician and are just as good. Very happy with my glasses and exactly as I had hoped. Great customer service too. Would recommend and will be using again in the future.

    Super light and super comfortable!

    These are literally the most comfortable frames I've ever worn! Very good fit, really classy looking and extremely light. A little on the pricey side but I'm very pleased with them. Just one small point re this (excellent) website: it would be great to see clearer "sideways on" photos on each frame, as I am considering buying this frame again in another colour but I would like to see the colour of the sides first as they can sometimes be quite contrasting to the main colour.

    Disappointed with after sales response

    My glasses were arrived a little later than anticipated but I was advised that this would be the case. Unfortunately, when they arrived the prescription didn't seem right so I rang Select Specs to tell them this and their response was that I didn't order reading glasses - I sent them a copy of my last prescription, which allowed me to read, so expected the same. I am not an optician and do not understand what the prescription means. I expected a pair of glasses that would allow me to read and this is not what I received. I now have to send the glasses back so that they can check but I am disappointed that the person I spoke to suggested I was to blame for not providing the correct information!

    Hi Sheree, I have checked your order and note you placed an order for 'distance' glasses (this is explained when you choose what your glasses will be used for on our website, Distance, Intermediate or Reading). Even though you had sent us your prescription with a reading ADD, because you had chosen to order glasses for distance use this value is effectively ignored.

    Please don't worry though as we can resolve this for you upon return of your glasses.
