Love Island 2019: The Best Eyewear (So Far!)

We don’t want to put all our eggs in one basket, but we’re very excited to have Love Island back on our screens.

Fronted by the glamorous Caroline Flack, it’s the reality TV show that has the whole nation talking each and every summer.

And while not all the islanders may be everyone’s type on paper, we’re already loving their summer style and choice in eye-catching eyewear!

Join us as we take a look at our favourite shades so far – and how you can get a slice of the action, too!

The Love Island presenter herself never fails to look gorgeous, and we’re loving this chic denim ensemble from the presenter.

Worn above in celebration of wrapping the first episode of 2019, Caroline’s outfit screams summer vibes. The cute denim dress is complimented by nude heels and a beautiful pair of Chloe CE142S shades.

We adore their rounded scallop-edge shape and gorgeous tinted lenses. Consider these your new go-to summertime staple!

Amber and Callum

Callum may have been the first islander to be booted off the series, but it wasn’t before this instantly classic Love Island moment shared with fellow islander Amber.

According to (the ever-confident) Amber herself, absolutely any sunglasses suit her face shape – a superpower we definitely wish we possessed, too!

We’re not going to argue here, either – Amber does look pretty sharp in her rounded aviator frames. The chocolate-tinted lenses compliment the gold arms perfectly.

All-in-all, they’re a solid choice from the self-professed eyewear connoisseur.

And while Callum may not fare so well in the sunglasses stakes (according to Amber, at least!), we’re still loving his circular frames.

Curtis

Early favourite Curtis, brother of Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard, is rocking a pair of 90s inspired shades in the shot above.

We’re loving the dancer’s infectious personality and cute coupling with fellow islander Amy (another eyewear aficionado!), but it’s his slick style that steals the show for us.

And while we’re not sure what Amber might make of Curtis’ retro choice of shades, we’re obsessed with this classic look.

Amy

The hilarious Amy is another early favourite, and we’re loving her rose gold aviators in the video above.

The islander has had the nation fall in love with her one-liners and irreverent chat, and we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that her and Curtis are going to go far this year!

And for us, her gorgeous choice in sunglasses is just another reason to love Amy. The aviator choice frame her face perfectly and the on-trend colour is a great way to update a classic.

Yewande

Effortlessly glamorous islander Yewande proves she knows how to score a hole-in-one with her gorgeous choice in shades above.

The pointed cat-eye sunnies above are a masterclass in sharp eyewear styling – and we’re totally obsessed!

Cat-eye frames are bang on trend for SS19, and Yewande proves she’s ahead of the curve with these slick, chic shades.
