Tour de France has begun and from Paris to the Pyrenees, the atmosphere is alive with excitement. For 2018, Bolle is sponsoring the French cycling team, AG2R La Mondiale, providing frames which will be available to buy come September time.
Together with AG2R, the team’s main sponsor, Bolle introduces the official eyewear of the competition season, the new ‘Shifter’ sunglasses. These frames have been specifically designed for 2018’s Tour de France stages, and are currently being worn by the prestigious team, who are among the top ranked in the World Tour. Modelled on the vintage Bolle Chronoshield glasses, this new design is a classic reinvented, with all the high-tech features required for a winning team.
The sunglasses feature curved arms for stability, an extra large shield made of NXT for wider field of vision and enhanced clarity, and frontal air vents to prevent fogging. These high-tech sunglasses have also undergone special hydrophobic and oleophobic treatment to keep water and dirt at bay, ensuring that liquid rolls of the frames and debris is easily repelled.
