Pia Mia Perez (aka Pia Mia) is an American R&B/pop singer, hailing from Guam.
The 21-year-old star is known to have Dutch and Italian ancestry, as well as other nationalities in her blood.
She paraded into the spotlight after becoming the subject of a viral video, courtesy of Kim Kardashian.
As a result, Mia released her initial EP titled ‘The Gift’ in late 2013 – this ended up being a completely free compilation.
In 2015, she released the single ‘Do It Again’ featuring Chris Brown and Tyga, which managed to climb to No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart.
Since then, Pia has recorded with notable musicians in the industry including the likes of Chance the Rapper and will.i.am.
Recently, she has parted ways with her record label, Interscope Records and has decided to continue on with her career as an unsigned artist.
