John Michael, a.k.a. Ozzy Osbourne is an English singer and songwriter since the 70s. The new & older generation witnessed different sides of the rock star with his reality show on MTV called The Osbornes in the early 2000s. He appeared alongside his wife and manager Sharon, Son Jack and daughter Kelly.
The public had the chance to see the other side of him not only portrayed in his music but as a loving father and husband.
He’s just like the rest of us except for the fact that he has tons of money.
Nicknamed the Godfather of Heavy Metal, he’s been in the music business for over 50 years and is still going strong.
Ozzy Osbourne first appeared in the music scene as the lead singer of a heavy metal group: Black Sabbath.
From then on, he led a successful solo career where he released 11 albums. 7 out of the 11 albums were awarded multi-platinum certifications in the US.
His signature style included hippie trousers, a long dark coat, wide flared jeans with a low-slung belt and black t-shirts (sometimes plain or gothic themed). A known fan of manicures, he also adorned with gothic accessories such as an oversized cross necklace.
Aside from being a reality TV star and selling well over 100 million albums both as a solo artist and as a band, there’s also something very distinctive about Ozzy Osbourne when it comes to his choice of spectacles.
Just as he’s known for his unique singing voice and strong Brummie accent, he loves wearing his signature round glasses.
