From Rapper Lil’ Bow Wow To Today’s Shad Moss

Though he’s been rapping since the age of 6 recreationally, he came to the limelight at the age of 13 as Kid Gangsta. Following a performance in Los Angeles, he caught the attention of Snoop Dogg and became known as Lil’ Bow Wow.

In 2000, he released his studio album ‘Beware of Dog’. The album became certified double platinum on March 5, 2001.

Shad dropped ‘Lil’’ from his stage name and became known as Bow Wow. Presently he’s known as Shad Moss in an attempt to rebrand himself as he diversifies his career.
