This is the first time ordering from this company but will definetly not be the last. The prescription lenses are spot on and the frames are perfect! I highly reccommend this company. Go ahead and order you some! You won't regret it. It took about 4 weeks from the time I placed my order to the time it arrived to my in the USA. Just as expected. Thanks so much! Amy

I've worn Ray Bans for decades, a union that occurred first when I learned to fly. Ray Ban aviators still set the standard they laid down in the 1930s - a fusion of large lens size to accommodate good peripheral vision, lightness, and aviation chic looks. In use they last well. Ordering a pair from the SelectSpecs website was relatively simple. I found the exact type of Ray Bans I wanted, uploaded my prescription, and chose the options for the lenses I needed. I was pleasantly surprised to find that options such as anti-scratch and anti-glare coatings came as standard. This was not the case with another large volume online/high street vendor I used last year. The price of the frames and lenses was also very good. Delivery of the finished glasses was on time. Quality of the finished product and the fit was perfect. This is a service I will certainly use again.

I needed glasses for summer driving, so I ordered Ray-Ban RX6489 and selected the 'brown polarized' option for additional $94.66.
Workmanship: excellent as usual.
Quality: Could be a bit better. The arms are too hard to open. I can live with that though, and maybe they will move easier after some usage.
The main problem is with that 'brown polarized' option. It is anything but brown. In fact, it is a yellow-green tint. I am not sure that it is really 'great for driving' as advertised because it strongly distorts colors.
While in general they are great glasses, I can't say that I am satisfied with this particular order.

Not sure if this frame is right for you? See our guide to face shapes & frame styles here.
All prescription glasses are made to an incredibly high standard in one of our labs. Find out more here.
Finding the correct frame size to suit you requires you to know a little about the different measurements that are used. Size information is normally broken down in to arm / temple length (ranges between 120 - 150mm), bridge width (ranges between 14 - 24mm, and lens width (ranges between 40 - 62mm). We also include a frame height measurement where possible, this can vary depending on frame style.

If you have a pair of glasses that are a perfect fit, you can usually find the frame size information on the frame - usually on the arm or the bridge.
What to look for?
You will often find a variety of information on the frame, including model number, branding and frame sizing. The numbers you are looking for will be similar to this format 150 - 22 - 50 although this can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. These numbers provide the following information:-
150 - Arm / temple size (in mm), a 3 digit value normally ranging from 120 - 150.
22 - Bridge size (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 14 - 24.
50 - Lens width (in mm), a 2 digit value normally ranging from 40 - 62.
