First backpacking trip of the season… and these views did not disappoint. I, @Im_NicoleMarie am just getting back from two days here, in the Sierras hiking up to and camping at 10K feet. The views from beginning to end were spectacular. Many of you have been asking recently, “what’s in your bag” and I have written about a few of my go to gear and products for the outdoors and travel. You can visit our website and read the latest blog to learn all about them. Included in the write up is a reminder about the 10 Essentials. These are categories of must have products that you should have on you when you are hiking, no matter where and for how long. They include: 1. Navigation 2. Sun protection 3. Insulation 4. Illumination 5. First-aid supplies 6. Fire 7. Repair kit and/or tools 8. Nutrition 9. Hydration 10. Emergency shelter These things together will undoubtedly give you peace of mind and necessary, reliable safety if you should ever happen to find yourself in an unexpected and/or dangerous situation. Undoubtedly, there have been times where I have been on the trail without all 10 of the above items. But I have now packed them away in a ready to go bag in my vehicle for when I hit the trail. Summer is the season of outdoor, hiking, backpacking and camping adventures and we, @womenwhohike want you to not only enjoy the outdoors but to also go out with knowledge. Because being knowledgable is being empowered. We can’t wait to see all that you have planned this summer… use our hashtag #womenwhohike so we can follow along with all of your hiking adventures! . 📷: @heyguystudios
