  Five star supplier

10th April 2015

Easy to order, hassle free service, keeping you informed of progress.

Reglazed promptly, no fuss, great result.

16th February 2015

The turnaround time on this reglaze was short, which I needed, and the quality hasn't suffered as a result, which is great, thanks. Wearing as I type, back to normal function (had some scratches which really decreased acuity). Good job, well done.

New lenses good, but quality of work disappointing.

6th February 2015

Having bought a pair of glasses and being very happy, I decided to have my old frames reglazed. The lenses are perfect, crystal clear and centred correctly - I can switch effortlessly between my two pairs. Rated 3 for style since there's no N/A option (they are lenses after all), and knocked 2 stars off for quality - the lens housing of the frame (the groove in the plastic where the lens sits) was not cleaned when the old lenses were removed, and I think this is sloppy - that dust, etc, is visible through the new lens and so I am disappointed. On that basis I'm not sure if I'd use them again for a reglaze which is a shame as I have a 3rd pair I'd like done, but they would also need a clean up. Pity.

SelectSpecs.com says...
Hi, sorry to hear this, at this time we do not clean up the frame we only replace the lenses and ensure the frame is ready for the new lenses. We will be offering an ultrasonic cleaning service in the near future to ensure the frame is cleaned thoroughly.

  New lenses

9th January 2015

I ordered replacement lenses to my existing frames. The new lenses were returned quickly, were well packed with a new cleaning cloth, and they work well. Seems like a good service.

Pleased with reglazing of glasses I provided to have tinted distance prescription lenses

7th January 2015

The prescription lenses included free UV coating, anti-reflection and scratch resistance. I was pleased to have tints as in bright weather my re-actalite glasses take a long time to change. The one thing I am getting used to is that the Brown Graduated Tint seems rather 'orangish-brown'. Overall they are what I wanted. Shipping cost is quite high. I guess this is to do with insurance.
