What is OCT?
Optical Coherence Tomography is an advanced eye scan for people of all ages. Similar to ultrasound, OCT uses light rather than sound waves to illustrate the different layers that make up the back of the eye. During the 3D OCT scan a digital photograph of the rear surface of the eye is captured which can then be cross-referenced to any area of concern from the 3D scan.
