    Good Service, but unfortunate ending.

    I bought these glasses, as they were very similar to the one's I wear at the moment. But unfortrunately when I recieved them and put them on I had double vision. There was no way I could of worn them, but because the lenses had to have prisms put in them, I instinctively thought that there must of been a manufacturing problem, then I thought maybe the optician made a mistake writing down my prescription. I was in contact with Selectspecs who were very helpful and apologetic. I took the glasses to the opticians where I took my eye test and they kindly tested the lenses where they found the prisms were wrong,hence the double vision. I did decide to return the glasses for a refund for which I have been reimbursed. I have used Selectspecs before without any issues for single vision lenses, but maybe when it comes to specielist lenses I think, from my point of view, that you need to sit down with someone, and if you did have an issue, at least you dealing with someone on a one to one basis. I have no problems with service Selectspecs gave through email conversations, and realise that problems do occur, and the prices they have a great.

    I ordered these as more of a back up, as my prescription changed in April but I don't know if its long term. I have a better rimless pair which will need reglazed but didn't want to do prematurely. These glasses are very good, not too heavy and I find them comfy.

    Excellent quality as good as any I have purchased at a much greater cost. A little small but probably my fault as I went by the style and should have looked for slightly longer arms. Overall very pleased with my purchase.
