Sunglasses from The Hurt Locker – staring Jeremy Renner

Kathryn Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker staring Jeremy Renner, Guy Pearce, Evangeline Lilly and Brian Geraghty, has become one of the most acclaimed films of 2009, earning awards and honors from numerous organizations, festivals and groups, and expected to do well at this years Oscars.  The Hurt Locker follows 3 members of the Army’s elite Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) as they battle insurgents and one another as they search for and disarm a wave of roadside bombs on the streets of Baghdad in order to try and make the city a safe place for Iraqis and Americans alike.

Jeremy Renner stars as Staff Sergeant William James who wears the  Oakley M Frame Sweep - a style popular in the military and other military movies such as the upcoming Paul Greengrass / Matt Damon film, Green Zone.

Brian Geraghty stars as Specialist Owen Eldridge who wears the Ray-ban 4084 or 4124.

Anthony Mackie stars as Sergeant JT Sanborn who wears a similar style to the Oakley Whisker.

The Hurt Locker is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray and is definitely worth a rental or or purchase.  The trailer can be viewed below.
