We do not recommend polarised lenses for airliner flight deck use. They highlight the stresses in the windscreens and can affect the pilots view of LCD/CRT screens. Always check to ensure that your cockpit environment is suitable before using polarised lenses.
Bigatmo Iono 0532 feature High Contrast Narrow Band (HCNB) Polarised grey lenses which have been developed using advanced Light Management Technology to make colours come alive. HCNB technology allows your eyes to receive more specific colour information which increases the sharpness and clarity of an image whilst reducing eye fatigue.

How do the Bigatmo Zeolite (grey) J7 High Contrast Narrow Band Polarised lenses work? Bigatmo Zeolite (grey) J7 HCNB Polarised lenses have all the benefits of the Bigatmo Zeolite (grey) S14 HCNB lenses with the added benefit of extra polarised glare protection designed to reduce eye fatigue when faced with situations where glare is bouncing towards you from water, snow and other shiny surfaces. They are superb for high contrast environments, such as driving.

Our eyes detect colour using ‘cones’ on the retina and the HCNB technology filters out the wavelengths between the three primary colours and so optimise the wavelengths that enter the eye. Our eyes are most sensitive to wavelengths in the green spectrum, and wavelengths in the blue range cause visual clutter, loss of contrast and eye fatigue. HCNB technology manages the light as it passes through the lens allowing your eyes to remain relaxed.
