**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-

Plus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH +6.00 CYL -2.00
Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00
Minus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH -6.00 CYL +2.00

Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Glasses too heavy to be worn for long periods

I purchased these glasses as Specsavers were too busy to assist me in choosing frames at the time of my assessment. The frames I chose from Select looked great and I chose the thinner lens. Unfortunately the thinner lens are still much thicker than my lens from Specsavers and the glasses hurt on my nose after being worn for more than 10 minutes.

solid good quality

these glasses are very good quality and can't fault them as the glasses do what they are suppose to do and i see as well as i can expect they are heavy to wear compared to my previous pair and i am a bit disappointed that they are not as green when they darken as i would have liked but over all a good purchase
