**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-
  • Plus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH +6.00 CYL -2.00
  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH -6.00 CYL +2.00
Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Prescription inserts for wraparound sunglasses

For use with the appropriate wraparound cycling style sunglasses, these can accommodate even my severe prescription, and lighterweight lenses are available at no extra cost. Inexpensive to replace the insert as your prescription changes.

Good solution to affordable wrap round shades

Good solution to affordable wrap round shades when used in conjunction with the relevant aero wrap round sunglasses. The insert clips into the frame of the glasses and is really secure. Putting the insert in the frame can be quite fiddly but, as mentioned, once it's in it's secure (not sure if this would get easier in time or with practise). Finger prints can be a problem if the insert is being difficult and not seating into the frame immediately. And due to the close fit cleaning the lenses of both the shades and insert can be awkward to clean properly but overall the price outweighs the difficulties. Another plus to this combination is if your prescription changes down the line it's only the cheaper insert needs changing and not the shades. Very happy.
