  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00

Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Unusual style

Like the bambo arms, however the retaining screws keep working loose, and have come out twice - luckily found the tiny screws on the floor !

Value for money

Lenses made as prescription, very pleased with fitting also as described with size etc. Wasn't expecting bamboo arms to be actual bamboo ( thought it was just the colour ) but actually surprisingly comfortable to wear.

QUIRKY AND FLATTERING

I saw these frames, and instantly loved them; the graduated black, squarish frame, which is really flattering, and the real bamboo arms. What helped, was that there was a photo of a model wearing them, who had similar features to mine, and looked fabulous. They are for distance, and tbh, I already have some perfectly good ones, bought from another supplier, but I wanted plastic ones as they are more comfortable, and I just wanted a different look. I am so pleased with them; they look amazing on, and the lenses make everything so sharp! I couldn't be happier. They are definitely my favourite pair. I already have a pair of computer reading glasses from Select Specs, and I am considering getting some reading glasses too. I wish I needed prescription sunglasses, but I don't drive now, so there's no excuse. However, in the future I won't be going anywhere else for my glasses, the price was fantastic. I have recommended Select Specs to family members on a budget. There are other suppliers out there, who advertise a lot, but I have checked them out and Select Specs are definitely head and shoulders above them all. Happy, happy, happy.

To small and hurt

I bought this last year, with a few other pairs. All the glasses except this one, fit perfectly. But i decided that since they were a bit nicer I would only wear them at special occasions. However my other pair broke last week, since I dropped them while bending over and in an attempt to catch them, I sadly broke them. So I have been wearing this pair for the last week while I wait for a new set of glasses that I have ordered. This pair has been painful to wear and has cased me to get a slight rash/burn on one side of my ear. I don't have an overly big head, but I wouldn't recommend these unless you have quite a small or fine face. I love the design, however they need to offer bigger sizes
