**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-
  • Plus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH +6.00 CYL -2.00
  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH -6.00 CYL +2.00
Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

excellent value why are highstreet opticians so high

so glad I found select specs, my last purchase from vision exress cost me £355.00 for the same vision I was able to get 2 x varifocal glasses plus verifocal transition sunglasses why buy on the high street?

Production awful glasses great

Glasses are great when you get them this is now the second time I’ve had to wait weeks for them to arrive.

Great Value Prescription Sunglasses

These arrived in time for our summer holiday so I can honestly say, having driven through 7 counties in 2 weeks, they performed brilliantly. No glare or squinting in the sunshine. Really clear and as they are various-focals there is no need to keep swapping pairs of specs. Frames look great, they are comfortable and tint is exactly what I had hoped for, the Polaroid lenses are also superb. I have used Select Specs before and always been delighted with the amazing savings and great service. thank you!

These glasses a fraction of the cost of a similar pair bought from the opticians 18 months ago but now an outdated prescription. They look almost as stylish, fit perfectly (with the help of Select Specs video) and are of a a reasonably good quality. One happy customer

Varifocal

I recently received my new glasses, however the varifocals seems to be misaligned, I cannot focus very well with these lenses. The frames I do like however, but I cannot wear them due to focus issues.
