  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00

Original Manufacturer Lenses

Good service and delighted with the glasses

I have an odd shaped head (!) and always struggle to get glasses to fit. I took a gamble with the Oakleys as the arms are straight (my preference) and sit slightly wide of my head. Just uploaded the prescription and glasses arrived. I was absolutely delighted! Perfect fit and no bending required. I also took a gamble on the "office near" lens as I didn't really want varifocals and now working from home on the laptop - these are perfect. No fatigue and everything clear - I couldn't be happier!

Nice, but a little heavy

These glasses are slightly larger than my old ones, a choice I wanted. However I have had a couple of niggles. Firstly, I noticed that because they are quite a bit heavier, when I looked right down, they would lift off my nose. I solved this problem by bending the straight arms to fit over my ears as normal glasses, this was easy to do and has not spoiled the glasses but if the straight arms were vital to you, try elsewhere. The other proble is a little more annoying. The rubber caps on the nose bridge do not surround the metal frame, nor are they bonded. Instead they are merely slotted into the circular wire holder and as a result, when you are wiping them clean there is a high risk of them just popping out of the frame and being lost forever. I actually had to crawl around on the floor of a motorway service toilet in a panic trying to find one that had popped out. I’m going to try to put a drop of super glue on it to hold it, hopefully that will work. So, in conclusion, nice glasses, good style, but a bit more designing required and I’ll get different ones next time.

In 24 years, I have never found any glasses to be exactly comfortable, they all irritate to some degree. However these are the best to date. Or the least irritating.

Very pleased

Good quality, feel strong, very lightweight barely notice they’re on, love the style, as varifocals they took a little getting used to but once I found the right place for them to sit, they are brilliant. I have used Selectspecs before and will continue to do so, these frames where not in stock initially but I was kept fully informed & delivery was as expected.
