  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00

Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Good pair of glasses with a couple of niggles

Overall i am happy with the glasses, the style and quality. The 2 items which i am not so happy with, probably part and parcel of buying online without trying them on physically: a) The bridge / nose ledge design means that they leave a smaller gap for your nose to sit then other designs with the smae spacing may need. b) The temple tips (the end of the arms) if made with a softer mateial would sit more comfortably on the face and ears. You notice it when you take off the glasses. If these were made with a rubberised material vs the harder plastic material, it would leave the wearer with a more comfortable fit.

Reading Glasses

I needed 3 pairs of glasses but my size was not available in all pairs so I ordered slightly different sizes. This did not make a difference. They all fit well. These were for reading and without added layers so cost just £6. The arms are a quite stiff but this does not detract from the ability to use as needed. I had to return my glasses and they were corrected. There was no quibble about this and they were returned and are now perfect for me. Customer service is great and staff friendly and helpful.

Second choice glasses are now my first choice glasses

The quality of the frame is top class and the elite varifocal lenses are spot on. I only wanted a second pair of emergency glasses in case of a mishap with my locally bought Optician frames. They arrived this morning and they fitted perfectly. I was surprised how good the clarity was with the lenses. Now my locally bought specs are relegated as my emergency pair. At £66 they are a bargain, my locally bought glasses cost me over £180 so I know who I will be buying from next time. The delivery time was a bit too long but can be forgiven due to the Coronation and extra Bank Holidays. Many Thanks
