    Glasses need to be tried on before purchase

    I have come to realise that it is risky purchasing glasses without first trying them on. Both pairs are too big for my face and I don’t like them. They’ll do as spares for an emergency and thankfully I didn’t pay much for them. I sent the right prescription but they are still not quite right for my vision but fine as spares. The colour is a very dark green, almost black so not as described. The 2nd pair are red and I love the colour but they are huge and far too wide. Disappointed that I thought purchasing glasses online was going to work.

    COMPUTER GLASSES

    I ordered these for my husband, with the special digital coating, as he has glaucoma, and spends all day looking at the computer for work. These glasses have made a huge difference, not just to how well he can see, but to the comfort of his eyes, and we are both really happy about that. I was surprised how inexpensive the special coatings were; if I'd realised, I would have ordered the coating for my own computer glasses, although I don't need it as much as he does, it's still really nice to have. He loved the frames, very stylish and comfortable; very different from the metal ones he had before, and they look good. Price was amazing. I have bought him 3 pairs so far; also for distance and prescription sunglasses for driving. He is very happy indeed. We will definitely stick with Select Specs. Recommended to everybody.

    Why oh why are there so few actual green glasses!

    Butch shape. so dark more like black than green. Least successful of my multiple purchases from slect specs. Overall, very much to be recommended.
