**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-

Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Disappointed

This is my first time buying glasses online. After many years of wearing distance vision glasses, I decided to give varifocals a go due to deteriorating near vision. This frame is of good quality, comfortable to wear and fits well, the frame height seems perfect for varifocals, I have no varifocal experience to compare to but they are comfortable on the eyes (a good frame height for looking up or down). My disappointment though which may be considered trivial by some is going to irritate me for as long as I have these glasses. When I took the glasses out of the case I discovered immediately that the right lens/frame has movement and clicks/squeaks, I thought I would just need to tighten the small screw to close the frame up around the lens but it was fine, there is no movement/gap at the join or in the screw. It may well be a defect in the frame but I have the impression the actual lens is too small or the groove around the lens is either too wide or too deep. Although the screw is tight, the frame is not fully gripping the lens, it clicks/squeaks and has forwards/backwards movement which is very noticeable when cleaning and makes them feel cheap (unlike the left lens which fits perfectly). Whilst the lens is probably secure in the frame it definitely doesn't fit properly and leaves me some what disappointed after having been looking forward to trying varifocals. I can't deny I saved over going to the high street but then again I have never had glasses with this defect before from the high street. The varifocals were made in the UK and in the same order I also purchased a cheaper single vision frame which came from China and they are perfect, both arrived quite quickly. Now that I have got them I guess I will put up with them but just wonder how they got past SelectSpecs UK Quality Control when the defect is so obviously noticeable. If the problem was with the cheaper single vision glasses from China instead of the varifocals I would have been less disappointed.
