**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-
  • Plus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH +6.00 CYL -2.00
  • Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00
  • Minus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH -6.00 CYL +2.00
Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Robust build

I used these glasses for over 3 years. They got knocked about a bit but still stood up to daily use all that time. They outlasted the pair I'd purchased from a highstreet opticians at the same time, which I only wore occasionally!

Good quality for good value

The glasses arrived in good time. The quality was very good, a bit lighter than expected which is good. They have no hinges but instead they are made of a memory metal - i like this because sooner or later the hinges break, or at best come loose. I will be using Select Specs again.

Of all the various types of glasses I’ve had over the years this type are the ONLY ones that stay on my face! These are lovely and lightweight and great value for money. These only thing I’m kicking myself about is I forgot to put the discount code in when ordering!

Great glasses for an excellent price

I actually see better with these online ordered ones than with my regular glasses. Looks good, too and everything, but I'm just used to my current ones, where the frame sits directly on the nose. Funny thing because this is the 2nd pair I ordered and wore these as my primary glasses a few years ago.
