**Free Single Vision Basic lenses are available for the majority of full rim frames with a prescription range of SPH ±6.00 and CYL ±2.00 powers with an average PD measurement (63mm), however this can vary depending on your prescription as follows:-

Plus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH +6.00 CYL -2.00
Plus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH +4.00 CYL +2.00
Minus Spherical powers and Minus Cylinder powers: SPH -4.00 CYL -2.00
Minus Spherical powers and Plus Cylinder powers: SPH -6.00 CYL +2.00

Original Manufacturer Lenses
Please note that during the glazing process, the original manufacturer lenses are removed from the frame and replaced with our lenses made to your prescription requirements. Branded prescription lenses are not included.

Varifocal Shades

I am generally pleased with the quality of the glasses that I purchased and with the after sales service that I received. However the 'wings' of the glasses are a trifle loose and the glasses fall off if I look downwards. I was advised by Select Specs to go to a local optician and seek tightening, but regrettably, there is not much that they can do, as the wraparound wings are made of plastic and do not have any metal in them. So even though they are heated for a better fit, they tend to bend back into place. With the exception of that, I think the glasses are near perfect.

I'd recommend this product

glasses themselves are great but the green tints came as seperate lenses which are unusable so disappointed

I would not order these again, i was expecting one set of lenses with the green reflective tint in them, not coming as a seperate set of lenses with green tint that are basically unusable unless i glue them onto the the front of the existing varifocal lenses. Am i supposed to attach them myself? confused tbh.

Hi, as we advise during the order process, the manufacturers lenses are removed and replaced with lenses to your prescription and tint selection. The loose lenses are the original lenses without prescription. You can keep these safe or dispose of them if you wish.
